Whether it is for your lunch break or when the end of the month creeps in, there are some great Grenoble spots that offer lunch on a budget.
No need to compromise on quality, quite the opposite… here are 4 spots where you’ll get the best dish for your dosh. Here is our list of Grenoblois restaurants that are quirky and delicious at the sweetest of prices.
1 / L’atelier CGB – The yummy poke bowl
In the heart of the pedestrianized city centre, L’Atelier CGB offers poke bowls made with fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. On the menu, 4 different bowls each with a veggie base, which can then be brought to life with meat, egg or fish, depending on what takes your fancy (and for a small fee). You’ll find unique flavour combinations that really work, at prices from €7 to €9. And what’s more, avocado on toast is just €8.

For the final spot, we head over to the Chorier Berriat area to try out this organic canteen that really stands out from the crowd. Its originality stems from the blend of restaurant and bike repair workshop.
The food on offer is simple and delicious. You can enjoy a tart and side salad for the modest sum of 9 euros. A saucy little detail, the homemade tart dough is made from a mixture of absolutely scrumptious flours.
